Mr. Fernand Pillonel has extensive experience in development, finance and humanitarian work. Mr. Pillonel worked at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as Country Director for Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. He then moved on to managing his own projects, as well as projects related to agriculture and cotton production.
For several years he worked as Chairman of the Board of Directors of one of the banks in Kyrgyzstan, and in 2018 joined the ACTED team and continued to develop microfinance in Central Asia, heading the Boards of Directors of OXUS in Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan and Tajikistan.
Mr. Pillonel received his master's degree from the University of Geneva.
Since 2018, he has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the closed joint-stock company “Microfinance Company OXUS”.
Mrs. Firuza Iskhakova has extensive experience in the field of finance and banking. Mrs. Iskhakova has extensive banking experience in leadership positions as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors in the largest bank in Tajikistan and others.
Mrs. Iskhakova worked for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London for more than 14 years. Her experience also includes participation in projects to reform financial market regulation and audit.
Mrs. Iskhakova received her master's degree from the Tajik Commercial University.
Since 2019, she has been a member of the Board of Directors of the closed joint-stock company Microfinance Company OXUS, as well as a member of the Risk and Audit Committee and the ESG Committee.
Mr. Samuel Grand is a highly qualified professional in the field of risk management and control, as well as an expert in the field of transformation and optimization of business processes. Mr. Grand has held various senior positions, including management and board membership of major entities such as Edmond de Rothschild Europe and ABN AMRO SarL. Mr. Grand is a member of the ABBL Supervisory Committee.
Samuel also has significant experience in microfinance as an independent director at Attadamoune Microfinance. He is also a trainer and consultant for the ATTF on projects of the Ministry of Finance of the Duchy of Luxembourg on risk, audit and finance.
Mr. Grand received his Master's degree from the Nancy Business School.

Mr. Julien Capron is a professional with experience in the financial and humanitarian sectors. His career began in banking, where he worked for Societe Generale and Natixis, analyzing corporate and investment banking services. He later moved to the humanitarian sector at ACTED, where he worked as a finance manager in various countries and regions, including Syria, Iraq and Jordan.
He has a background in economics, including an MSc in Economics from the University of St. Andrews and BA in Economics from the University of Essex.
Currently, Mr. Julien is studying at the INSEAD business school, where he specializes in impact financing.
Mr. Julien Capron has been a member of the Board of Directors of the closed joint stock company “Microfinance Company OXUS” since 2022, and is also a member of the ESG Committee.
